Take a seat and let’s get started.

I offer one-to-one counselling sessions to people aged 18+ who are feeling held back by certain issues in their lives.

I am a Humanistic counsellor who uses acceptance and empathy to create a relationship of trust with my clients. My clients find me calming, unflappable, nonjudgemental, but also challenging. I want you to make the most of your time with me. I won't tell you who you are or how to get better - instead I will empower you as the expert on that. We will untangle your difficulties and examine them together, working out what you can leave behind and how.

There’s no need to decide whether you will need counselling or psychotherapy. I provide both, there is lots of overlap and the pricing is the same for each. Generally counselling will focus on current issues such as stress, loss and relationship difficulties, and will be relatively short in duration (perhaps 6-12 sessions), whilst psychotherapy addresses such issues as trauma, obsessive thoughts and behaviours, and may require several months and deep focusing methods to complete.

Accredited provider of Triple P Positive Parenting Programme

I am also an accredited provider of Triple P sessions

Triple P is a parenting programme, but it doesn’t tell you how to be a parent. It’s more like a toolbox of ideas. You choose the strategies you need. You choose the way you want to use them. It’s all about making Triple P work for you.

Triple P helps you:

  • Raise happy, confident kids

  • Manage misbehaviour so everyone in the family enjoys life more

  • Set rules and routines that everyone respects and follows

  • Encourage behaviour you like

  • Take care of yourself as a parent

  • Feel confident you’re doing the right thing

I offer Triple P Primary Care, which supports parents of children aged 4-11.

Suggested schedule:

Consultation about your child's behavioural difficulties: 30 minutes, £20

Session 2, focussing on creating a parenting plan based on a Triple P tip sheet, to improve the problem behaviour: 1 hour, £45

Session 3: reflecting on progress so far and fine-tuning the parenting plan: 30 minutes, £30 to 1 hour, £45.

Session 4 (if needed): reflecting on progress so far and fine-tuning the parenting plan and identifying further behaviours to improve: 30 minutes, £30 to 1 hour, £45

Sessions can be one-to-one or with two parents in attendance.

I look forward to hearing from you.
